This is a selected list of key projects in which I have worked over the past few years in the National Office of Foresight and Strategy.
España 2050 (2021)
A report that provides: a diachronic and forward-looking analysis of nine major challenges that Spain will have to overcome between now and mid-century in order to converge with the most advanced countries in Europe; 200 policy actions to achieve this; and a dashboard of 50 quantitative goals and indicators for designing lines of action, taking specific measures, and monitoring progress over the coming years. The list of future challenges are: (1) productivity and economic growth, (2) education, (3) reskilling, (4) climate change, (5) ageing, (6) territorial development, (7) future of work, (8) inequality, and (9) future well-being. |
Open Strategic Autonomy - Resilient EU2030 (2023)
This report, created for the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, is the result of the collaboration of over 250 experts and 80 ministries from the 27 Member States. It proposes an innovative, balanced and realistic roadmap to guarantee the EU’s Open Strategic Autonomy and technological and economic leadership by 2030.

The Dialogues on the Future were an initiative of the Spanish Government, the European Commission, the European Parliament and 72 other public institutions (city councils, regional governments, foundations and universities) designed to promote plural and informed conversations about the opportunities and challenges that Spain and the EU will face in the post-covid world.
